Working processes are actively ongoing to create water supply and wastewater treatment systems
in the dabas and villages of Ajara.
In parallel with the program, educational activities are planned in the program dabas and
villages.
In order to successfully implement the program in Ajara and inform schoolchildren about
environmental, water supply and wastewater treatment issues in the project dabas and villages,
it is planned to establish eco-clubs at schools.
A working meeting was held regarding the establishment of the eco-clubs at schools in Ajara.
Teimuraz Bedinadze, Director of JSC Ajara Water Alliance, Jemal Surmanidze, First Deputy
Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara, heads of municipal educational resource
centers, school principals and representatives of the German consulting company MACS attended
the meeting held in distance mode.
